The feed offset parabolic antenna KIP9-1700/2700DP MIMO 2x2 is designed for use with 3G/4G/WiFi modems and routers. The feed supports standards LTE1800, UMTS2100, LTE2600 and WiFi(2.4 GHz) 802.11 b/g/PS 2x2 MIMO in the frequency range of 1700-2700 MHz. If you have a 4G modem, and Internet speed and signal strength are not satisfied, then the use of bundles 4G feed + plate surely will boost the signal. Because of MIMO standard doubles the bandwidth of the channel.


System plate+feed has a very narrow radiation pattern (beam angle 2-3 degrees) so aiming requires precision. Deviation of 1 degree reduces the signal level significantly. Accurate alignment of the plates with the feed is possible with the use of a special instrument - spectrum analyzer.

Entrust the installation and pointing of the dish to experts. 

The installation of the feed.

Hold down the feed in the dish holder. Most operators 4G-Internet use X-polarization signal. To find out what is the polarization of the signal from your 4G operator, you need to try to turn the feed in the holder at 45° and view on the indications of signal level in a program on the computer. Inappropriate choice of polarization, the signal level will drop by 30 dB or even more.

Direct the dish to the tower. For this the arc from the head to the feed, should be directed exactly to the tower 4G operator. It may seems that the dish is "looking" into the ground. In fact, it receives a signal from the direction to which the arc is directed, which holds the illuminator. If the tower is far away, the arc will be approximately parallel to the ground, as shown in the figure.

Note that any obstacles between the operator’s tower and your feed will weaken the signal. It can be trees, houses, buildings, uneven terrain. So choose the place of installation of the dish so that was the direct visibility of the tower.

The larger the diameter of the applied plates, the higher the gain. The more the operating frequency, the higher the gain.
