Directional panel antenna KAA16-1800 with a gain of 16 dB is intended for use in conjunction with 4G modems (supporting the LTE1800 standard) and other equipment operating in the 1710-1880 MHz frequency range (radio communication systems, GSM signaling, etc.).

The antenna is designed to work in wireless communication networks with equipment of standards:

  • 4G (LTE 1800)
  • GSM 1800

The high antenna gain (16 dB) allows the 4G (LTE 1800) modem to work confidently at a considerable distance from the base station, while providing it with high-quality signal reception and transmission in the operating frequency range. The antenna works both for receiving and transmitting a signal.

The use of MIMO technology allows to increase the data transfer rate up to 150 Mbps. MIMO (Multiple Input Multiple Output) is a method of spatial signal coding that allows to increase the channel bandwidth, in which systems of multiple antennas are used to transmit and receive data. MIMO technology is used in wireless communication systems (Wi-Fi, WiMAX, LTE) to increase bandwidth and use the frequency range more efficiently. The use of MIMO technology allows more data to be transmitted in one frequency range, thereby increasing the transmission speed.

The antenna houses two orthogonal polarized radiating systems that allow operation in 2x2 MIMO mode.

The hermetically sealed antenna housing is made of high quality ABS plastic, resistant to UV radiation and atmospheric precipitation, which allows the antenna to be used both indoors and outdoors.

Antenna’s  inputs are DC short-circuited between the outer and inner conductors, which reduces the likelihood of static electricity accumulating at the input of active equipment (modem, router). This reduces the likelihood of damage to the connected equipment from static electricity and it becomes unnecessary to use a lightning arrestor.

Antenna’s  mount is intended for mounting the antenna on a mast with a pipe diameter of 32-40 mm or on a wall using wall brackets KH-200 or KH-330 and their modifications. The mount allows you to change the direction (azimuth), tilt angle and polarization of the antenna.
