The KAA15-700 / 2700 antenna is a broadband (multi-band) directional panel MIMO antenna with a 15 dB gain and support for LTE-A technology (advanced).
We recommend using this antenna with 3G / 4G modems that support LTE-Advanced cat.6 technology and operate in the 700-2700 MHz frequency range.
LTE Advanced (LTE-A) technology can significantly increase the data transfer rate up to 300 Mbps when using client equipment that supports the LTE cat.6.
The antenna is designed to work in wireless communication networks with equipment of standards:
- 2G (EDGE, GPRS at frequencies GSM900, GSM 1800);
- 3G (UMTS 900, UMTS 2100);
- 4G (LTE 800, LTE 1800, LTE 2600), YOTA;
- Wi-Fi 2400 (IEEE 802.11b, g, n).
The wide frequency range of the antenna allows modems to operate efficiently at the edges of 4G service areas. The modem will automatically switch to the 3G standard if there is no 4G signal, and the antenna will provide it with a high-quality signal in both bands.The high gain (15 dB) allows you to work confidently at a considerable distance from the base station of the cellular operator. The antenna works both for receiving and transmitting a signal.
The use of MIMO technology allows to increase the data transfer rate up to 150 Mbps for LTE cat.4 and up to 300 Mbps for LTE cat.6.
MIMO (Multiple Input Multiple Output) — is a method of spatial coding of a signal, which allows you to increase the channel bandwidth, in which systems of several antennas are used to transmit and receive data. MIMO technology is used in wireless communication systems (Wi-Fi, WiMAX, LTE) to increase bandwidth and use the frequency range more efficiently. The use of MIMO technology allows more data to be transmitted in one frequency range, thereby increasing the transmission speed.
The hermetically sealed antenna housing is made of high quality ABS plastic, resistant to UV radiation and atmospheric precipitation, which allows the antenna to be used both indoors and outdoors.
The antenna inputs are DC short-circuited between the outer and inner conductors, which reduces the likelihood of static electricity accumulating at the input of active equipment (modem, router). This reduces the likelihood of failure of the connected equipment (modem, router) from static electricity and it becomes unnecessary to use a lightning arrestor.
The antenna mount is designed to install the antenna on the mast with a pipe diameter of 32-40 mm or on a wall using wall brackets КН-200 и КН-330 and their modifications. This mount allows you to change direction (azimuth), tilt angle and polarization of the antenna.
